Mike’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. He has worked as a fully licensed financial advisor in the credit union system and in the private banking arm of a Canadian chartered bank. His experience includes credit management, investments, and financial planning.
Mike has attained the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) in addition to holding his insurance license. More recently he instructed a financial management course in the Business Diploma/Accountancy program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.Mike was born and raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. He, his wife Natalie, and their two daughters- Adelyn and Harriette, now call Saskatoon home. They enjoy an active lifestyle outdoors spending time at the lake with family.
