Professional Recognitions

We take great pride in our accomplished team who have earned some of the most respected and recognized designations in the financial industry.

CFP® Certification

The most widely recognized financial planning designation in Canada and worldwide, the Certified Financial Planner® designation provides assurance to Canadians that the design of their financial future rests with a professional who will put their clients’ interests ahead of their own. CFP certification is considered the standard for the financial planning profession worldwide. CFP professionals have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, experience and ethics to examine their clients’ entire financial picture, at the highest level of complexity required of the profession, and work with their clients to build a financial plan so that they can live life confidently.

The Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) Designation. Financial professionals who hold the CIM designation are eligible for registration as a Portfolio Manager in Canada. They have expertise in providing money management services to high-net-worth and institutional clients, and they understand the application of portfolio management in the context of Canadian markets and regulatory requirements. A CIM identifies clients' objectives and constraints; develops appropriate investment policies and strategies, taking into consideration market and economic conditions; and evaluates investment products that represent both traditional and alternative asset classes; and implements policies and strategies through portfolio construction.

The Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) is the pinnacle financial services credential and the highest honour in Canadian financial services. It is reserved for an exclusive group of financial professionals who demonstrate unparalleled leadership, integrity, commitment and dedication to their clients and industry.

The Certified Executor Advisor (CEA®) Designation is the first and only executor-facing designation in Canada which provides advisors with a practical level of knowledge covering all the issues executors may face in the course of their duties. The CEA helps advisors engage with Canadian executors to raise their awareness of the risks, roles and responsibilities involved in being an executor / executrix / estate trustee.

Note that CEAs do not act as executors but rather as advisors to appointed executors in order to offer them guidance.

The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) is an advanced designation that expands on the knowledge gained in the CFP® education program with a focus on estate planning and wealth transfer. It sets financial advisors apart by successfully meeting established standards for competent practice and presenting a greater level of knowledge and specialized skill in complex wealth and estate-transfer markets.
